Live-Edge-Building is dedicated to projects that support life with architecture and use materials that blend with the environment.

Tim has over 40 years of building experience including boat building, Japanese joinery, cabinetry, and timber framing. Tim has worked on Buddhist temples in Japan, forest management permaculture design, cabins in Alaska, and custom homes in the Pacific Northwest.

The primary vision of Live-Edge-Building is using timber that is harvested in a sustainable manner, and using recycled materials. Tim believes that through managing our natural resources we strengthen the forest and preserve it for future generations. The natural character of the materials dictate their use in each project. The use of "Sacred Geometry" found in nature enriches and adds energy to Tim's work giving it a lasting quality.

Giving consideration to the natural setting and the mathematical relationship off design components makes a finished project that feels "right" and is in harmony. Live-Edge-Building portfolio shows Tim's unique style and competence.
